Art Crawl, Inc.
A non-profit organization serving as a catalyst to celebrate the emergence of new and innovative artists throughout Central Florida. Art Crawl is focused on building relationships to bring about awareness, support, and collaboration for the arts.
About
Since its inception in 2013, under the support and direction of Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland, FL, Art Crawl, Inc. has set out to bridge previously set boundaries on the emerging artist, as well as break down social and cultural boundaries through the arts. Art Crawl is designed to spotlight emerging artists, performers, other area art organizations, and grass root art movements whom may not fit the common tradition of art festivals in the area. As a result, Art Crawl Inc. has grown to support and aid new artists desiring professional traction in the Central Florida area while enriching our community’s knowledge and understanding of the arts. Participating artists and art organizations are those venturing in contemporary media and content as well as innovative concepts and abilities.
In 2017, the event was filed as its own non-profit organization. Today, it is ran through a volunteer board comprised of professional art educators, artists and advocates to continue providing one of the area’s best platforms for encouraging artists and their counterparts.
Art Crawl is proud to remain supported and endorsed by Polk Museum of Art in addition to area businesses and other organizations sharing the vision. Together, we believe we can make a difference in the community by building relationships to bring about awareness, support, and collaboration for the arts.
