Abstract: This is America​

This is America" was a visual and performing arts pop-up event held on February 1, 2020 featuring the fifth and final show of Abstract - A Performing Art Series inspired by Tapestries Lakeland. This event was a GRUBB Arts production, in collaboration with Art Crawl and sponsored in part by ART/ifact - created as a tribute to and a celebration of our diversity - highlighting local artists and their personal portrayal of America. This event highlighted visual artists purveying a voice related to personal stories, struggles, or experiences highlighting our diversities within America. Topics included: heritage, culture, immigration, social change, social justice, equal rights, activism, and current events. Another event to come in 2022.
